My recipe for an easy Whipped Feta Dip is creamy, tangy, and full of big bright flavors. It is the perfect snack or quick appetizer. I like to serve this with pita, crackers, or fresh veggies. Our creamy feta dip is guaranteed to be a hit at any gathering.

This dip is very versatile and easy to adjust. You can tweak the flavors by adding a little honey for extra sweetness, or swap the mint for dill for a different flavor profile. This feta cheese dip pairs well with Mediterranean-style dishes and makes an excellent spread for sandwiches and wraps. If you’re looking for a flavorful dip that’s easy to make, this one is a must-try.

How to make Whipped Feta Dip

First, gather your ingredients.

Ingredients

For best taste, always use the highest quality ingredients you have access to.

To make this creamy whipped feta dip recipe, you will need the following ingredients:

  • Feta Cheese
  • Greek Yogurt
  • Garlic
  • Lemon Zest
  • Lemon Juice
  • Kosher Salt
  • Freshly Ground Black Pepper
  • Extra-Virgin Olive Oil
  • Fresh Mint
  • Aleppo Pepper

Use block feta for the best results and not the crumbled. We use whole milk Greek yogurt for this recipe. I don’t recommend the fat-free version.

First, add the feta, yogurt, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, and salt and pepper to your food processor.

Leftovers

Store leftovers in a covered container in the fridge for 2-3 days.

Always use common sense and good judgment when it comes to leftovers, though! If something looks or smells funky, don’t eat it.

I hope y’all enjoy this easy whipped feta dip recipe! Let me know if you try it.

Ingredients

  • 8 ounce block feta cheese drained and torn into large chunks
  • 2/3 cup whole milk Greek yogurt
  • 1 clove garlic roughly chopped
  • 2 teaspoons lemon zest
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/8 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil divided
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
  • 1 teaspoon Aleppo pepper as garnish

Instructions

  1. In a food processor, blend the feta cheese, yogurt, garlic, 1 teaspoon of the lemon zest, lemon juice, salt and pepper.

  2. Slowly add 2 tablespoons of the olive oil until the dip is smooth and creamy.

  3. Transfer the whipped feta dip to a serving dish and garnish with a drizzle of remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil, lemon zest, mint and aleppo pepper.

Recipe Notes

  • The Aleppo pepper isn’t very spicy at all, so if you don’t have it you can swap with crushed red pepper flakes, but use a lot less since the red pepper flakes tend to be spicier.
  • Store the dip in the fridge and then top with garnishes before serving.
  • If you prefer the dip to be a bit thicker, refrigerate it for 2-4 hours after making it before serving & adding the garnishes.
