Whipped Feta Dip
This incredibly flavorful whipped feta dip is perfect to serve at a party! Easy to make, and everyone will love it!
Ingredients
- 8 ounce block feta cheese drained and torn into large chunks
- 2/3 cup whole milk Greek yogurt
- 1 clove garlic roughly chopped
- 2 teaspoons lemon zest
- 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
- 1/8 teaspoon Kosher salt
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 3 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil divided
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh mint
- 1 teaspoon Aleppo pepper as garnish
Instructions
-
In a food processor, blend the feta cheese, yogurt, garlic, 1 teaspoon of the lemon zest, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
-
Slowly add 2 tablespoons of the olive oil until the dip is smooth and creamy.
- Transfer the whipped feta dip to a serving dish and garnish with a drizzle of remaining 1 tablespoon of olive oil, lemon zest, mint and aleppo pepper.
Recipe Notes
- The Aleppo pepper isn’t very spicy at all, so if you don’t have it you can swap with crushed red pepper flakes, but use a lot less since the red pepper flakes tend to be spicier.
- Store the dip in the fridge and then top with garnishes before serving.
- If you prefer the dip to be a bit thicker, refrigerate it for 2-4 hours after making it before serving & adding the garnishes.
