How to Make Air Fryer Red Potatoes

Ingredients

For best taste, always use the highest quality ingredients you have access to.

To make this crispy air fryer red potatoes recipe, you will need the following simple ingredients:

  • Red potatoes
  • Garlic powder
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Dill
  • Avocado oil (or sub olive oil, or your favorite oil)

Feel free to modify this recipe, especially the flavor/ seasoning. Consider adding a sprinkle of fresh rosemary or thyme before serving for an aromatic touch, or toss the potatoes with Parmesan cheese in the last few minutes of cooking for a cheesy variation.

Of course you can sub Yukon gold or Russet potatoes in this recipe.

These have way less oil than their deep fried counterparts. And if you want to use even less oil, you can opt for a cooking spray.

Cooking Air Fryer Red Potatoes

Air Fryer Red Potatoes is a delightfully simple recipe that promises delicious results in just a few steps. Here is how to make it!

First, season the potatoes. Toss potatoes with avocado oil and seasonings in a large bowl until well-coated.

Transfer the seasoned potatoes to the air fryer basket, ensuring they are in a single layer for even cooking. Don’t overcrowd the basket.

Air fry at 400 degrees Fahrenheit until golden brown and crispy on the outsides, fork tender on the inside. This works out to be about 18 minutes, tossing often to ensure even cooking.

Leftover air fryer red potatoes

Store leftover potatoes in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Always use common sense and good judgement when it comes to leftovers, though! If something looks or smells off, it’s better to be safe and discard it.
