To make this baked cod recipe, you will need the following:
- cod filets
- salt & pepper
- butter, melted
- olive oil
- fresh lemon juice
- chili powder
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- parsley
Making baked cod
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F and spray a baking dish with cooking spray. Dry the fish with a clean paper towel and season it well with salt and pepper. Then place the fish into the prepared baking dish.

Make the lemon butter sauce. In a medium size mixing bowl combine the olive oil, melted butter, lemon juice, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, dried parsley and a pinch of salt and pepper. Whisk well to combine everything together.

Pour the mixture evenly over the cod.

Place the cod into the oven and bake it at 400 degrees F for 12-15 minutes.

Thicker cuts of fish may take up to 20 minutes. Just look how gorgeous and yummy this is!

The fish should be flakey when done. Serve over rice or with a side of green beans.

- 2 Tablespoons olive oil
- 4 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
- ¼ teaspoon chili powder

- ¼ teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon dried parsley
- Fresh chopped parsley for garnish
