We just returned Sunday afternoon from Destin, FL where my family gathered last week. We celebrated my Nana’s 88th birthday with the whole family. It takes a lot to get all of this crowd together.
But we had a great time seeing each other and honoring my grandmother.
And my husband and I even managed to squeeze in some beach time, thanks to my mom and dad who watched our son.
I had planned to do a post Friday from Destin. But! My mom and dad were having internet issues, so with the exception of a couple of posts to my Instagram and answering a few emails on my iPhone I was totally unplugged from Virtual World for the majority of the trip. It was unplanned, but it was glorious.
It was a great trip! I will be sharing more photos throughout the week, so stay tuned.
Today I am sharing my weekly meal plan.
I am trying a new recipe from a YouTube friend, Lasagna soup. It looks so good! We have also been eating a lot of my homemade pizza lately. My toddler loves it, and I change up the toppings to switch things up a bit.

I have also seen lasagna soup on Pinterest, and it does look good! Thanks for being the guinea pig for me. Ha! What is your grandmother – an 88-year-old supermodel?! Lol My goodness! She is GORGEOUS! She looks better than me, and I’m 35! Ha!
