It’s been pretty silent on the blog for over a week now. We are still battling cold and sinus issues at our house, and I haven’t felt much like cooking.
Third trimester pregnancy is also in full effect. Meaning that it feels like it takes monumental effort to do even the simplest things!
But! We still have to eat. 🙂 And I have been making trips to the grocery store and publishing it on YouTube.
Today I am sharing my latest haul from Trader Joe’s.
Recipe link mentioned in today’s video – homemade balsamic vinaigrette.

And since I never posted it, here is my latest Costco grocery and Christmas haul here:

I’ve never shopped at Trader Joes before. I always felt like I would be cheating on Whole Foods! Haha! But I’ve been learning that they are slightly different types of health food stores. I see a lot of people go to Whole Foods for fresh produce, etc.. and Trader Joes for healthier versions of prepared/processed foods, frozen stir fry dinners, etc… Your haul looked great! I’m going to try that Organic Honey Comb Cereal asap!! I hope you feel better soon.

It is definitely a different niche than Whole Foods. WF produce has way more of a variety. TJ’s does excel at the healthier processed stuff & prepared frozen foods, as well as the basics (bread, honey, pastas, nut butters, baking supplies). And TJ’s is so much cheaper than WF.
Thank you! I am on my 2nd antibiotic, still trying to shake this sickness. As much as I did NOT want to take antibiotics while pregnant, I feel like it is less safe at this point for me to go without them.
