Do You Trust Yourself? (Food for Thought)

Do you trust yourself? With food? Everything else?

Not trusting yourself puts you in a place of inner conflict. It is like being hand-cuffed to your enemy. Actually worse because you make an enemy out of yourself! It’s a bad place to be!

So today we will talk about how to start building self-trust. Building self trust helps you to anchor yourself with confidence in the things that matter most to you, and turn down the noise on everything else.

First off, could that baby “bee” any cuter? Pun intended. I really liked all you had to say there! Definitely food for thought! I will start to employ these steps and, if I can re-find this spot, let you know what comes of it. Right off I realized that I am very unforgiving of myself and leave very little room for myself to make mistakes in most areas of interpersonal relatipnships… I find myself beating myself u quite a lot. I absolutely know that doing so is pretty much always self-defeating and the opposite of helpful to myself or others… knowing this, I find that I actually start to beat myself up for beating myself up! It’s a catch-22 kind of vicious cycle and I’ve not yet found my way out of it… I think your idea of treating myself as a friend will go a long way in getting out of that loop because I am incredibly forgiving of my friends! Almost too forgiving at times. I’m also very protective of my friends and would never stand for someone talking badly of them! So, your concept vibes with me on that, in that if when i put myself down inside my own mind (or outloud) to have my own inner friend tell my own inner enemy, “HEY! DONT YOU TALK ABOUT MY FRIEND LIKE THAT!!! TAKE IT BACK RIGHT NOW!” (I can be kind of bossy when feeling protective of people. Hahaha!) So, I look forward to having someone on my side to put that inner critic in its place and stand up for me!!! Great stuff! Thank you very much for sharing that!!! :0)
