My chicken BLT salad with avocado is a simple meal that is inspired by a traditional bacon, lettuce and tomato sandwich. This is a great way to use leftover grilled chicken.
Make a bed of greens on a plate or in a big bowl.
Add all other ingredients, and top with your favorite ranch dressing.

Also, I am using my own grilled chicken and ranch dressing recipes as the base of the recipe. But feel free to use store prepped grilled chicken (or even leftover rotisserie chicken) and your favorite ranch.
I would suggest waiting until right before you eat to slice your avocado, since avocado tends to brown. Just a heads up if you are making it ahead!
I used precooked bacon for convenience. I did crisp it up in the toaster first because I prefer crispy bacon in this recipe. You can use any bacon you like.
