Crockpot Buffalo Chicken Dip

This simple buffalo chicken dip recipe is made in the slow cooker and is perfect to serve at a party or cookout!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound chicken tenders or breasts
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 8 ounces buffalo sauce
  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 4 cups sharp cheddar cheese divided
  • 1/4 cup ranch dressing

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken with the salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder.

  2. Add the chicken, chicken broth, and buffalo sauce to the crock pot.

  3. Cover and cook on high for 2-3 hours or low for 4-6 hours, until the chicken is tender and shreddable.

  4. Using a hand mixer, shred the chicken. Add in the cream cheese and mix until combined. Slowly stir in the sour cream and half of the shredded cheddar cheese.

  5. Add the remaining shredded cheddar cheese to the top of the tip and cover. Continue to heat until the cheese is melted.

  6. Serve with pita bread, crackers, celery sticks, carrot sticks, or whatever you prefer to dip with.
