Air Fryer Grilled Cheese

Air fryer grilled cheese is a tasty, classic sandwich, and it is next level epic when you make it in the air fryer.

Ingredients

  • 2 Tablespoons butter - preferably at room temperature
  • 4 slices whole grain bread ciabatta, sourdough or bread of your choice
  • 4 slices cheddar cheese muenster cheese or a combination of both.

Instructions

  1. Spread the butter evenly on one side of each piece of the bread.
  2. Then place 2 slices of cheese slightly overlapping in between the buttered slices of bread with the buttered side of the bread facing outward to form 2 separate sandwiches.
  3. Spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray to prevent sticking and place both sandwiches into the air fryer basket about 1 inch apart in a single layer. Cook at 370 degrees F for 3 minutes, carefully flip each sandwich over, increase the temperature to 380 degrees F and cook them for 4-5 more minutes until they are nice and golden brown and the cheese is super melty.
  4. Remove, let cool for 1-2 minutes and enjoy!
