Air Fryer Buffalo Wings

  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • Kosher salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper
  • cooking spray olive oil, or cooking spray of choice
  • 1/4 cup hot sauce
  • 4 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Ranch dressing (link is to my made from scratch ranch, or use any type of ranch)
  • carrot stick and celery sticks for serving


  1. Dry the chicken wings with a clean paper towel. Spray the wings with olive oil spray and season them with some salt and pepper on all sides.
  2. Preheat the air fryer to 380 degrees F. Once it is ready, place the wings into the air fryer basket in a single layer.

  3. Cook the wings at 380 degrees F for 12 minutes (you may need to do this in batches) Flip them over and cook for 12 more minutes.

  4. Increase the heat to 400 degrees F and cook the wings for 4 more minutes to get them nice and crispy.

  5. While the wings are cooking you can whip up the buffalo sauce. Heat up a medium size saucepan to medium low heat. Add in the butter, hot sauce, honey, worcestershire sauce and a little salt and pepper. Whisk and cook until the butter is fully melted and the sauce is nice and smooth. Remove from the heat and set aside until the wings are done cooking.
  6. Once the wings are done cooking, add them to a large mixing bowl, pour the buffalo sauce all over the wings and toss to coat them all in the sauce.
  7. Serve warm with ranch dressing, carrot and celery sticks.
