How to make vegan chocolate chip cookies

First, gather your ingredients.

Ingredients

For tastiest results, always use the best quality ingredients you have access to.

To make this vegan chocolate chip cookies recipe, you will need the following:

  • vegan butter
  • white sugar
  • almond milk
  • vanilla extract
  • all purpose flour
  • baking soda
  • salt
  • chocolate chips

Mixing vegan chocolate chip cookie dough

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. (Amazon affiliate links)

In a large bowl beat the butter and sugar together until creamy, then add in the almond milk and vanilla and mix until the batter is light and fluffy, about 60-90 seconds.

Combine the flour with the baking soda and salt in a separate medium bowl.

Add the flour mixture to the wet mixture and stir to combine into a thick cookie dough.

Fold in the chocolate chips.

Baking the cookies

Drop the cookie dough in 1-1.5 tablespoon amounts onto the baking sheet.

Space them about 2 inches apart.

Bake the cookies for 12-14 minutes, remove and let cool on a cooling rack for at least 10 minutes before serving.
