It’s a really good salad with a nice crunch and yummy flavor combination. Plus it is very satisfying. And side note: if you are trying to increase your protein intake, my recipe nutrition software tells me this salad has a whopping 75 grams of protein! Plus a decent amount of fiber as well from the beans and veggies.

There are many versions of this salad floating around, so I decided to find the authentic one. This is the exact original recipe that was developed straight from the horse’s mouth in this video, where Jen herself describes her favorite salad.

Here’s how to make your own Jennifer Aniston salad. First, gather your ingredients.

Ingredients

For best taste, always use the highest quality ingredients you have access to.

To make this Jennifer Aniston’s salad recipe, you will need the following ingredients:

  • Iceberg or Romaine lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Chickpeas/ Garbanzo beans
  • Salami
  • Turkey bacon
  • Cooked chicken – see suggestion list below.
  • Pecorino cheese
  • Italian dressing

Feel free to modify this as you see fit. Consider adding a sprinkle of red onion, subbing feta cheese, or fresh herbs to elevate the flavor. If you’re a fan of a good crunch, sunflower seeds or mini cucumbers can be great additions.

  • 3 cup Iceberg or Romaine lettuce diced thin
  • 1/2 cup diced tomato
  • 1/3 cup chickpeas
  • 3/4 ounce salami 5 discs, cubed (about 3/4 ounce)
  • 2 slices crunchy turkey bacon cubed/ crumbled (use AF turkey bacon below)
  • 6 ounces cooked chicken (rotisserie chicken, or suggested chicken recipe list in notes)
  • 1 Tablespoons pecorino cheese – 1 to 2 Tablespoons, to taste
  • 2 Tablespoons Italian dressing more to taste, if desired

Instructions

  1. Make a bed of lettuce, and layer the other ingredients on top. Pour on dressing, and toss to combine.
