The flavor profile for this recipe is super simple, by design. To make this grilled halibut recipe, you will need the following:
- Halibut filets
- olive oil
- salt and peppr
- lemon juice
- Fresh chopped parsley – optional garnish
Making grilled halibut
Brush the fish on both sides with a little bit of oil and sprinkle both sides with salt and pepper to season the fish.
Spray or rub a little oil onto the grill to prevent sticking. Heat the grill to medium heat and place the halibut on the grill and cook it for 5 minutes per side.
Once the halibut is done cooking, remove it from the heat and sprinkle it with some lemon juice and garnish of fresh chopped parsley.

- 2 Halibut steaks or filets – about 4-5 ounces each
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- ½ teaspoon kosher salt
- ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper
- The juice of 1 lemon
