Ingredients
For best results, always use the best quality ingredients you have access to. Side note: farmers markets have some amazing tasting corn this time of year.
You could play with seasoning here if you are feeling adventurous. But the basics are pretty hard to beat. Simple seasoning allows the true taste of the corn to shine through.
How to grill corn on the cob
The first step is to prep the corn.
Pull back the corn husks and detach them from the corn and remove the silky inside by pulling the strands from the top of the corn.
Prep the grill. Preheat the grill to medium-heat and brush the grates with some the oil of your choice. I have used avocado oil and olive oil for this.
Cook. Place the corn directly onto the grill and cook it for 15-20 minutes, using tongs to turn it while it cooks so that it gets charred on all sides.
Remove and place the grilled corn on the cob onto a plate. Continue until you have cooked all of the corn.
Serve. Enjoy warm with some butter, salt and pepper and freshly chopped parsley
