Happy WIAW! I am sharing a day of my eats on Weight Watchers.
I started my day with a cup of coffee. I sipped it while I got my son dressed, fed and dropped off at daycare.
Once I got home a made a toaster sadwich with egg whites, salsa and cheese (4 ponts). It was so yummy! I had an organic gala appe (0 points) with it, plus my second cup of coffee (2 points for the 2 cups).
I ate my breakfast while I worked on some assignments at work. I had time for a quick walk/run (3 activity point earned). Once gain, the fall colors in Birmingham did not dissappoint.
After a call with my boss, I made myself some lunch. I had a turkey and provolone sandwich on wheat (6 points) with carrots (0 points) and hummus (2 points for 2 tablespoons). I also had some grapes (0 points) and a little side salad with a simple vinaigrette (1 point).
For snack, I took a cue from Brittany over at A Healthy Slice of Life. I love her blog so much! This week she posted a video about DIY microwave popcorn. So I made myself some of that (3 points). I also had a Kashi dark chocolate bar (3 points).
For dinner, I made a recipe that I found on Skinnytaste for chicken and broccoli noodle casserole. This is another one of my favorite blogs. She gives great recipes, including points plus values. Her photographs are beautiful too, and it has really inspired me to want to learn to take better photographs for my own blog. Anyway, 8 points for one serving of this casserole. It was delicious!
