Air fryer steak is a fast and convenient way to cook a steak, and you won’t believe how tender and juicy it is.
This is an excellent option if you do not have a grill, if it’s too hot to grill or if you want an easier option. Pretty much anything you can grill will be good in an air fryer: burgers, pork chops, kebabs, chicken breast and more!
Heads up: air fryers can vary in intensity, and steaks definitely vary in size. So (1) see recipe notes for suggested cook times and (2) use common sense, adapt accordingly. It is always easy to cook a little longer.

Hi, Marjorie. First I’d like to wish you a happy new year. I have made many dishes following your recipes. We loved them.
My husband likes steaks, but I didn’t like to cook steaks until I found your Air Fryer Steak recipe. I had good success with 1″ rib eyes using your recipe. Tonight I cooked a thick (1 1/2″ thick) fillet magnon, I had to make some modifications, that I would like to share with you. First I brushed the steak with 1 T of Kitchen Bouquet, and seasoned it with salt and pepper. Then, I cooked in the airfryer at 390 degree for 5 minutes on each side.It is a rare-done. My husband loved it. I cooked only one steak because I am a vegetarian. Also I did not cook at 400 deg F, as suggested by you, because at 400 deg the air fryer generates a lot of smoke.

Is avocado oil a must or can olive oil be substituted?
