If you are not familiar with mahi mahi, it is a mild fish. I chose it for its mild flavor, as well as its general availability.

How to make air fryer mahi mahi
First gather your ingredients.
Ingredients
For tastiest results, always use the best quality ingredients you have access to.
To make this air fryer mahi mahi recipe, you will need only a handful of ingredients:
- Mahi Mahi uncooked fish fillets – skinless, or skin removed
- avocado oil (or spray oil, such as olive oil spray or oil of choice)
- garlic powder
- onion powder
- paprika
- salt and ground black pepper
- Lemon wedges – optional for serving
Prep and season the fish
First, pat the Mahi Mahi fillets dry using a clean paper towel. Then brush each fillet with the oil.
Combine the garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper in a small bowl then rub it all over the fish.
Preheat the air fryer to 400 degrees F and spray the air fryer basket with cooking spray.
Place the Mahi Mahi into the air fryer basket in a single layer, ensuring they do not overlap.
Air fryer mahi mahi cooking time
Cook for 8-10 minutes at 400 degrees F, until the fish, reaches an internal temperature of 137 degrees F.
Note: the thicker the fillets are the more time they will need to cook.
Serve hot with a squeeze of lemon and your favorite sides.

Thank you for this! I have never had Mahi Mahi, but I hear it is really good. I stopped eating Tilapia (I only like milder fish) because it often tasted bad, I am sure from being farmed and eating each other’s excrement. I just checked my store and they have wild-caught Mahi Mahi, so I’m going to get some to try this recipe! Love my air fryer but need to learn more to fix in it.
