This strawberry banana smoothie makes a great healthy snack or meal. With only four ingredients, it is super simple. It is one of my go-to smoothies.
Most of us do not eat enough fruits and vegetables. Smoothies are a great way to remedy that problem! I love making smoothies for breakfast! It is a great way to get a jump start on your fruit and veggies for the day.
This strawberry banana smoothie is one of the smoothies that I make the most often. I adore strawberries! My son love this one too.
I usually make this with regular almond milk. Recently Almond Breeze sent me some Almondmilk Coconutmilk blend (<- combination of the two in one package).
I loved it!
Coconut is all the rage in the health community right now. I feel like it gave my go-to smoothie a little extra nutrition (<- just google the benefits of eating coconut), plus a hint of coconut taste that was not too overpowering…which made me think of being on a beach with an umbrella in my drink. 🙂

You’ll need a blender. I am using my Blendtec total blender. Other blenders should work just fine!
Strawberry Banana Smoothie Recipe
- 1 banana
- 1 cup generous frozen strawberries*
- 1/3 cup Greek yogurt I am using Fage 0% Greek
- 1/2 cup Almond Breeze Almondmilk Coconutmilk blend
Place all ingredients into a blender, and blend until smooth.
If the mixture appears to be too thin, add a few ice cubes and blend again. If too thick, add a splash more of the Almondmilk Coconutmilk mixture.
*If you are using fresh strawberries, you can add ice to thicken up the smoothie. I prefer frozen fruit, since it waters down the taste less.
