Hi friends! Welcome to What I Ate Wednesday, where I share a day of my eats. Thanks to Jenn for hosting the linkup.
If you have been following me for any length of time, you know that I generally follow Weight Watchers. Truth be told, this particular day I did not stay on track at all. I started the week doing Simply Filling, which is how I will show points for this day – only for extras. And then I just sort of went off plan. But I went ahead and took pictures anyway. I like to keep it real, even if real isn’t the model Weight Watchers day-of-eats. Sigh.
For breakfast I had an over easy egg, a blueberry oat muffin (4pp) and two clementines. I always have two cups of coffee with half and half (1pp).
A few hours later I had a yogurt cup for a mid-morning snack.
For a lunch I had some of this chicken tortilla soup from Costco. I topped it with some avocado (1pp) and fresh cilantro. I also had a whole wheat bagel thin with a couple wedges of Laughing Cow light Swiss cheese (1pp).
After lunch I had an iced coffee (1pp) and two Dove dark promises (2pp).
For snack I polished off the last of the Stacy’s pita chips (not measured…sigh). I did not even have any dip or anything to eat them with, so I just enjoyed them plain.
Not pictured: And then I had a banana with some peanut butter (not measured…oops!)
For dinner we had salsa crock pot chicken over brown basmati rice, sprinkled with a little 2% cheddar and a side of steamed broccoli.
Do you track your food intake?
How do you get mentally back on track with healthy eating when ALL the snacks are calling your name?
