I happen to follow Weight Watchers, and this week I am doing the Simply Filling method. So I will note PointsPlus for any items that are “extras.” I like the break from tracking. It has been nice.
For breakfast I made a version of my cinnamon maple oatmeal (1pp for the maple syrup), and I added some pomegranate on top.
A couple hours later, I grabbed a couple clementines for a snack.
For lunch I had a leftover turkey burger on a light wheat bun with 2% american cheese (1pp) and oven baked fries.
For snack I threw a few things in the Blendtec and hoped for the best (<-my favorite game lately): greek yogurt, pomegranate, banana, strawberry, carrot, lemon and almond milk (0pp). It was a win!
Heads up: the refurbished Blentec’s are on sale through this Friday! I am absolutely LOVING mine. I was reluctant to spend so much on a blender. But once I pulled the trigger, I have not regretted it one bit.
Before I went to pick up my son I ate a hardboiled egg with Sriracha!
I was so busy this particular night trying to drum up votes for King’s Hawaiian’s next culinary explorer that I didn’t make dinner. Luckily I had licked up some chicken tortilla soup from Costco this weekend. And all I could manage to capture was a grainy, hideous picture of the box.
That fed us, and it was pretty good! I added a little diced avocado (1pp) and 2% cheddar on mine (1pp).
