Happy Wednesday y’all. With it being the day before Thanksgiving and all, I wasn’t sure if I would be able to pull together a post for today or not. But lo and behold, I managed to snap photos of my meals from Monday (plus used a few recycled photos of repeat eats).
I include Weight Watcher PointsPlus with all of my posts, FYI. Confession time: I did not track my food in “real time” on this day! I did not calculate PointsPlus until I sat down to type out this post. That is a bad habit I have gotten into lately. Eek!
As always, thanks be to Jenn for hosting this weekly food-sharing shin-dig.
If you follow me on Instagram, you may have seen that I finally got myself a Blendtec blender. I am in LOVE! I have wanted a high end bender for years, and I finally got one. So I have been blending ALL the things! 🙂
Side note: Blendtec is having a holiday sale on refurbished blenders. They are giving you $30 off, plus free shipping through December 1! If you have always wanted one, now may be a good time to pull the trigger.
Breakfast was a green smoothie with a little of everything thrown in: globe grapes, banana, clementine, kale, chia seed (1pp), Greek yogurt (2pp) and almond milk (1pp). It was pretty tasty!
I had two cups of coffee with half-and-half too (not pictured – 1pp). What can I say…I am a creature of habit.
For lunch I met my husband at our favorite Mexican joint. I got my usual. I had a taco salad with grilled chicken (3pp), refried beans (1pp), cheese (2pp), guacamole (1pp) and salsa. I ate the shell (estimated 8pp). Sometimes I can resist, but this time I gave in. No biggie, just count the points and move on! I did not eat any of the sour cream.
I had my iced coffee after lunch (1pp).
The afternoon whizzed by in a flash, and before I knew it…it was time to go pick up my son from daycare. I grabbed a tablespoon of Brad’s organic almond butter right out of the jar (3pp). Oh yes I did. Keepin’ it classy, y’all, right out of the jar.
Have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving!!
What are your Thanksgiving plans?
