Happy What I Ate Wednesday! Today I am sharing a day of my healthy eats on Weight Watchers.
I get a lot of new visitors on Wednesdays, so if you are new (1) WELCOME! And (2) check out my page for visitors and new followers to help you know what A Pinch of Healthy is all about. FYI, you can see all of my WIAW history here.
Breakfast was a protein shake with chocolate protein powder (4pp), almond milk (1pp), banana, frozen strawberries and some ice. Can I just say YUM?! I don’t know if it is the hot summer weather or what. But I have been hooked on protein shakes for breakfast lately!
I also had my usual two cups of coffee with half-and-half and sugar (2pp for the two cups).
For lunch I heated up some leftover lentil and black bean chili (6pp), topped with some avocado (3pp). I also made a side salad with blueberries, goat cheese (2pp) and my homemade balsamic vinaigrette (1pp).
I had my usual post-lunch iced coffee (1pp).
For afternoon snack I had three light Wasa crisps (1pp) with two wedges of light Swiss Laughing Cow cheese (1pp) and some fresh cherries.
Dinner was my easy salsa crock pot chicken (4pp), served over some jasmine rice (3pp) and topped with a little cheddar (1pp). We also had green beans.
It really helped me to snap these pictures! On the days that I do my WIAW pictures, it means that I have to track all of my food…something I have been struggling with lately!
I have had a couple of really good days this week, so I am hoping that this will give me some momentum to start losing again.
Monday Meal Plan Link Up
Thank you to those who linked up on Monday! I really enjoyed seeing what you are cooking and eating.
I am going to continue to try this link party through the end of August. It is getting pretty decent page views, but not a ton of participation (linking up). So what am I to make of that?
(A) People want to read meal plans, but not many want to post them and/or link up.
(B) The majority of my audience are not bloggers and don’t care about linking up to anything.
(C) Nobody cares about a meal plan link up.
(D) I stink at promoting things.
All of the above? LOL…Feel free to leave me a comment or contact me here if you have any feedback.
