Happy What I Ate Wednesday! Where I share a day of my eats on Weight Watchers. My current daily points allowance is 31.
Breakfast was an sandwich with egg whites (1pp), thin Colby jack (1pp) and avocado slices (1pp) on light wheat (2pp). I also had watermelon and coffee with half and half and sugar (2pp for the two cups).
Lunch was mixed baby greens with grapes, goat cheese (1pp), leftover chicken (4pp) and double batch of my single serving balsamic vinaigrette (2pp). I absolutely love goat cheese, and this one is local to me (Alabama). It is so creamy, and I really like the tangy-ness of the cheese mixed with the sweet grapes and dressing. So yummy!
I was pretty hungry about mid afternoon. So I decided to make myself a protein shake. My favorite one at the moment is Tera’s Whey Organic Whey Protein in Dark Chocolate (3pp). It is really good quality (organic, grass fed) and oh so yummy. You can get it a Whole Foods, but I have found it to be cheaper on Amazon. I mixed it with a frozen banana and almond milk (1pp). I blended it in my Nutribullet, which I love more and more every day!
For dinner I tried a new (to me) Weight Watchers recipe – black bean and lentil chili (6pp). I topped it with a single serving of guacamole (2pp), and I also had a piece of corn bread (4pp).
I had one point left for the day, so I had a piece of dove dark chocolate (1pp). Yum!
